Recently, in implementing the decision and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on empowering new productive forces through the capital market, CIB introduced the CIB Comprehensive Financial Service Solutions for Listed and Pre-Listed Companies. This initiative aims to leverage CIB's advantages in group operations and comprehensively utilize financial service tools from both commercial and investment banking sectors, providing services such as debt financing, equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, asset activation, and wealth management to support the development of new productive forces.
The capital market is a crucial engine for accelerating the cultivation of new productive forces. "How to use the capital market, this 'source of living water,' to channel more financial resources into the cultivation and development of new productive forces is something CIB has been contemplating and acting upon," said a representative from CIB's Investment Banking Department.
According to the plan, CIB will focus on three key areas: specialized services, full-process services, and group operations, continuously improving the financial service system for listed companies. During the pre-listing stage, CIB will provide equity investment, strategic investor introductions, and equity structure optimization services. During the IPO stage, comprehensive supporting services will be offered. In the post-listing stage, CIB will provide capital market refinancing and M&A transaction services. Additionally, CIB offers supporting "commercial banking + investment banking" services for the controlling and participating shareholders, senior executives, and core employees of listed companies.
In recent years, CIB has continued to advance its "Commercial Banking + Investment Banking" strategy, connecting multi-tier capital markets and channeling financial resources to precisely support the development of new productive forces, thereby promoting a virtuous cycle of technology, industry, and finance. By the end of 2023, CIB had served 11,331 listed and pre-listed companies in the technology sector.
