Pledge registration fee: RMB 3 per kilogram for gold, platinum, and silver contracts; charged for both pledge creation and cancellation. Overdue fee: Charged only for positions of precious metal deferred contracts continuously held beyond the time limit. Deferred fee: Fees established by the Shanghai Gold Exchange to maintain market delivery balance. The collection direction is determined based on daily market delivery declaration quantity balancing. The fee is collected from customers by the SGE members on behalf of the Exchange; Transportation and insurance fee: Transportation and insurance fees charged by the Shanghai Gold Exchange to customers withdrawing physical precious metals, collected by banks on behalf of the Exchange. Storage fee: Storage fees charged by the Shanghai Gold Exchange based on customers’ physical inventory holdings, collected by banks on behalf of the Exchange. Currently, individual customers are temporarily waived from this fee by the Exchange. Warehousing fee: Fees charged by the Shanghai Gold Exchange when customers deposit or withdraw physical precious metals. Previously paid directly to vaults by customers, now collected by banks on behalf of the Exchange. Transaction service fee/lease registration fee: Fees charged by the Shanghai Gold Exchange based on the volume of precious metal lease transfers, collected by banks on behalf of the Exchange. Pledge registration fee: Fees charged by the Shanghai Gold Exchange according to the quantity of pledged assets in precious metal collateral transactions, collected by banks on behalf of the Exchange. Delivery fee: Fees charged by the Shanghai Gold Exchange on customers engaging in silver spot deliveries, collected by banks on behalf of the Exchange. Currently waived temporarily by the Exchange. Overdue fee: According to the regulations of the Shanghai Gold Exchange, the exchange may impose overdue fees on deferred contracts held beyond the specified period through a two-tiered charging system. The specific holding duration thresholds for each tier shall be subject to the Exchange’s official notice. Currently waived temporarily by the Exchange. |
