Recently, the“CCTV Finance Channel Financial Powerhouse: Shanghai Financial Night” was held in Shanghai. At the event, the Shanghai Municipal Government presented the 2023-2024 Shanghai Financial Innovation Awards. The Credit Card Center of Industrial Bank won the Second Prize of the Financial Innovation Achievement Award for its project titled “Multimodal AI-based Intelligent Credit Card Collection Practices of Consumer Protection and‘Black-Grey’Industry Identification Enhancement.”
The award-winning project showcases innovative practices across multiple areas, including centralized operations, AI-assisted collections, and intelligent voice solutions. Specifically, three AI-enabled innovative applications, “Voicebot”, “Intelligent Quality Inspection”, and “Voiceprint Verification” have effectively improved the efficiency of human-robot collaboration, playing a positive role in combating illegal intermediary activities, maintaining the stability of financial order, and safeguarding consumers’ financial security, among others.
“Adhering to the strategy of ‘Reinvigorating the Bank through Technology’, we are actively exploring innovative applications of AI in financial services and accelerating comprehensive upgrades to credit card service models, interaction approaches, and work processes. Through these efforts, we aim to contribute CIB’s strengths to better protecting consumers’ legitimate rights and interests, fostering a clean and orderly financial environment, and ensuring a better quality of life for the public,” said the head of the Credit Card Center of Industrial Bank.
Presented by the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Shanghai Financial Innovation Awards consist of the Financial Innovation Achievement Award and the Financial Innovation Promotion Award. The Financial Innovation Achievement Award recognizes financial innovation projects in financial products, technologies, tools, and services launched by Shanghai-based financial factor markets and financial institutions.
